Treehouse respite nights

Luxury Treehouse interior at Hothorpe Hall

It is always so important to take some time out and have the space to relax and unwind. This is never more important or needed than when you are going through a physically or emotionally draining time. Patients who are receiving chemotherapy treatment can be visiting hospitals very regularly and having to stay there for hours at a time. This time in hospital and the effects of the treatment can really take its toll on relationships and life in general.

This is why GEMS Charity offer patients who are currently being treated or have been treated in the last month at the chemotherapy unit at Leicester Royal Infirmary a little quiet night of luxury. We have teamed up with The Woodlands at Hothorpe hall in Theddingworth to offer the unique opportunity to stay in their treehouse.

  • A luxury breakfast hamper

  • Cooking facilities in the treehouse to enable you to bring your own food or you can order a takeaway

We would not be able to offer this package to the patients who need it most without the support of our donors and fundraisers. Please follow the links below to make a donation or find out how you can get involved.
